Type of oil to use???

Dose anyone know what the best oil to use? Type and brand for a 1991 Mrec 5.7 350 with 700 hrs. Book says SF or SG. Ive been using Castro SAE API- 30w. I thought SG was for moterbikes.

Below is what Mercruiser recommends, other than that, use what ever you want. Every possible oil has been used and someone has said it was the best.
It's just another of the never ending oil threads without a definitive answer
