I have a mid to late 80's 4hp that runs well for a few mins, then dies. It will start back up and then just die a few mins sooner. It continues to start and run for short periods of time with each crank. I'm think carb-rebuild? I'm also wondering about the fuel lines breaking down from ethanol. Should I swap them as well as a precaution? Any advice is appreciated!

You either have a plugged fuel filter or the carb needs attention.
