Well, my upper motor mounts are shot so I pulled the powerhead off to replace them. In doing so, I dropped a washer from the motor mount and also a "sleeve" type thing from the top of the driveshaft down into the lower unit from above (exhaust tube came off with powerhead).

So...since i have to pull the lower unit off, I plan on replacing the water pump impellar, but what else should i replace while I have it off? I'd like to do it all at the same time. But, I don't know what "all" is.

Suggestions?

Well, depending on what you have, how old it is, and how many hours, besides the impeller you may also want to replace the water pump stainless insert, the stainless pump plate, impeller key, water tube grommet, pump plate gaskets.

Most/all of these can be bought in a complete kit. Check this site, I'm sure you can find kits with/without upper pump body; if your pump body is in good shape you can re-use it.
