Lark V 40 hp about a 63 or so

I am not sure of the year as I am picking up the motor tomorrow, but it is a Lark V 40 hp I think about a 63-4. It is electric shift with an extra lower unit. My question is I think this is one that defaulted to neutral. Correct?
