while running the boat the primer ball will suck flat on any speed past idle, not just empty out but suck completly flat
i removed the check valve and it works fine, cleaned the fuel filter on the motor and replaced the fuel water seperator befor finding the bad gas

1st when i have removed all the gas i can from the in hull 30 gallon tank, how do i further clean it befor adding new fuel?

2nd. what would make the primer ball suck flat when the check valve is working and the tank vent is not clogged?
thanks
Jason

Re: Fuel problem

If you tee a vacume guage into the fuel line to see what is going on i would thing you will se a high reading (above 4" to 5" ) that would point to a probelm with the boats fuel system

It could be the pickup tube in the tank or the tank vent ect

Re: Fuel problem

Make sure there are no leaks at the fuel joints/fittings.

Re: Fuel problem

most likely an airleak in your lines from the tank to the connector.
