idle tube

I have a 1971 mercury 50hp and am having a hard time finding the carburator idle tube does any one know where i can get this part ? any help appreciated

Carburator idle tube? Do you mean the actual idle adjustment screw?

There is an idle tube on the carburetor and they will get so worn that they will wear thru on the side that touches the tube they go in. Mercury manual says it MUST touch the front side of the tube when installed.

Seaway Marine in Washington state has a lot of NLA parts. It is useful to have a part number too.

Idle tube is part of the repair kit... Part# 1395-92621... Still available.
