Hi,

I have a 1993 Mariner 20HP and i have changed it from tiller to remote control. However I am missing the bracket that holds the remote cables on the side of the engine. They connect to the throttle arm and to the gear arm, but there is no bracket to hold the cables.

Does anyone know where i can get one? or is there something daft i am doing? I can post a photo if needed.

Me again

I have managed to knock up some home made brackets to hold the cables, but these will only ever be a temporary solution.

I have looked at a few pictures on the web and it seems that i just need a bracket that bolts on the side of the engine that holds the cables. I have searched everywhere to try and find a spare, but to no avail. I have been told i need a part number, and i don't know where to start.

Does anybody here have any ideas?

for those that do need to know what is needed, then i managed to work it out all on my own
