Carb Settings for 84 Suzuki DT 75

Can't find "Air Bleed" Screw initial setting. Just rebuilt carbs to resolve a hard to start, impossible to keep running 84 Suzi DT 75. I have the Sealoc Manual but it is for 88 and newer.

Motor stalls when put into forward or reverse gear. Has fresh gas, new plugs. It idles smooth and quiet. Revs the same.

the screw setting is 1 & 1/2 full turns outwards from soft stop ..... but it sounds like you need to replace your fuel pump diaphragm ...... that is what caused mine to die when i put it in gear ....

Thanks for reply.

Is there a way to check diaphragm for problems? I do not have a pressure gauge.

the fuel pump diaphragm is cheap and easy to replace ...... brownspoint.com
