I have a 1989 Bayliner Ciera Sunbridge with a 351 OMC that was stuck in gear (coming into a no-wake zone) after coming in at cruising speed. I quickly accelerated and was able to then bring it down to wake-speed. Holley carb was just rebuilt. Gear lube was just replaced in the outdrive and everything greased. Shift cables sticking? Idle too high??
