I have owned this boat/motor for 2 years. Up until a few weeks ago, it started on the dime and idled beautifully. It has been fogged/winterized every fall. Gas has been treated regularly from the day I got it.
Lately, it won't start without help from the throttle and it idles a bit rough.
Noticed a good deal of oil/sludge running out of the exhaust when I went to crank it in the driveway tonight (with muffs). Lots of smoke, too.
I cleaned the plugs (which were pretty fouled) but have yet to restart.
Appreciate any insight on how to get her back to running/starting smooth.
