I posted a similar question in non-boating technical forum, and if this gets booted for that reason, then I understand...but I was wondering why some window AC units will weep out the condensation and some will not? My newest Kenmore 10,000 BTU says DO NOT drill a hole in bottom of unit. But the water is collecting on left side, and there is no way for it to get to the right side relief hole. I have checked the level of the unit, and everything is o.k.
My other 2 units are past warranty dates, so I am not worried. Just wondering if standing water in these units is ok. Its not alot of water, but insects seem to gravitate to water in warm times. Thanks
