2008 Evinrude 90 HP E-TEC Trim Gauge

How do you know for show what trim gauge will work with your o/b? I have a new 2008 90 HP Evinrude E-TEC. Will any Faria trim
gauge work that says it is for OMC/Evinrude?

Will answer my own question. If you have an E-TEC, call Evinrude and talk to the tech. dept..They will answer all you tech. questions on this o/b and you will know for certain that the information is correct..Very nice people to deal with, no hassle, no problems. Any OMC trim gauge or any other mfg. trim gauge that says for use with OMC or Evinrude/Johnson o/b will work..
The reason given that some gauges will not work is that different models, makes have different computer systems that are not compatable with all gauges..

Moral: When in doubt, call the mfg. tech. department...
