I have a 1998 135 SW Edition Mercury outboard. I've noticed my oil seems to be backflowing into my glass fuel filter. It is also hard to crank for the first time. Its like the oil injector is putting too much oil into the cylinders and fowling out my plugs. Once it does crank it smokes alot at first, but then cranks fine the rest of the day. It there a check valve that is suppose to keep oil from seeping back into the fuel filter?
