Power steering / trim tilt

Hey guys. I am in the process of replacing my trim / tilt pump and reinstalling my power steering pump. Quick question. Can I use regular automotive grade power steering fluid in the power steering pump? I have a gallon of it. Also.. The trim / tilt pump, Ive read uses trim tilt pump fluid. I have a couple tubes I purchased of that, do I have to use that for it or can I use power steering fluid? Also.. this might me a stupid question, but does the trim / tilt pump and p/s pump run off the same fluid? or does each have its own? It looks like the lines run in the same area near the rear of the boat. I have a manual, but it isnt very specific about these issues. Oh.. btw its a 4.3L omc drive 1988. Thanks for the info.

atf what? in the ps pump or the trim pump? Can I use ps fluid in the ps pump? Ive already put it in. should i drain it out?

OMC used ATF in both the power steering and the trim pump.
