question on a 66 v4 evinrude charging

ok do i need the volt regulator box or could i hook to generator directly to the bat?? i cant find a volt reg anywhere for this motor

you do need the voltage regulator. They are out there and you might try www.aomci.org I am told some auto ones will work, but somebody smarter than me will chime in on that.
