Default 1979 140HP Mercury - Oil/gas ratio?
I picked up the above motor, but I need to know what the oil/gas ratio is for this motor....any help would be appreciated. I was told 1oz for every gallon of gas, that doesn't seem right to me. Thanks

50:1 is the correct ratio, Samm.

One pint TC-W3 outboard oil to 6 gallons of 87 octane gas, or about 2.6oz. per gallon.
