We are going to be married in 6 weeks now, and were trying to get a baby all ready because we thought t would take ages because my fianc?e has PCOS.
But she got pregnant with in two months.

So I the happiest man in the world now

I'm gonna be a Dad

Huge congrats! I know about the PCOS thing, my wife has it, and we 'tried' for 6 yrs unsuccessfully to have kids. Finally, our last-ditch effort at medical intervention (we both agreed to draw the line at invasive procedures) produced results (my 3 year-old daughter).

The scary thing is that we wanted to have one more, and on the advice of her OB, we were told to start 'trying' as soon as possible, given the amount of time it took the first time. 6 months later she was pregnant again

eavega, that is a great interval for kids, they end up better friends. Turin, congrats you and the future Mrs.

Congrats, Turin! I could have made almost the exact same post 6 years ago, except we got the news about 3 weeks before the wedding! I was the happiest guy in the world too.

Be prepared, tho...she's going to be awfully stressed dealing with the final stages of the wedding and a new pregnancy at the same time. Be prepared to give massages, offer kind words and reassurances, and occasionally bite your tongue

Children are a lot of work (we have 5 of them) ages 20 to 28 now !!!!!
However it is the most rewarding and wonderful thing.
Enjoy every moment of it. They grow up all to quickly. But then there are Grandchildren to look forward to !!!!!

I think having kids is a blast. Lots of time and money involved but i wouldn't change a thing.
