How many stroke for 50HP Mercury outboard 1984

Finally I found my 50HP Mercury outboard is 1984 by look up its serial number. However, cannot find come many stroke it is. Could someone shin some light?

Besides, I am having problem on starting the motor which works a week before. I looks like no spark coming from the spark plug. What could be the cause of the problem. I just fill up the gas tank with regular gasoline. AM I making a mistake.

It is a 2 stroke. If it hasn't got oil injection, straight gasoline will cook it.
What is the serial number?

serial number started with 48xxxxxxxx. Yes, it is 2 stroke 4 cyclinder. After mixing the fuel, finally it started for once and had a lot of fun in the lake. But on the next day, it didn't start. Tested on spark and no voltage to coil. Wonder whatelse can go wrong?
