Got the floor cut out of the 76 Charger. Found the foam about 40 to 50% saturated. That stuff can hold a lot of water. In the process of cutting out the foam. Any suggestions for an easier way? I am slicing about a 2 inch section then cutting it away from the hull, then moving another 2 inches, very slow.
The best news was the stringers and transom are in good shape. Get the old foam out and cut the new plywood, put in new foam, glass in the floor, re-carpet, then put it back together. Maybe be able to get it out on the water in about a month.
