I have a carbed 502 mag 390hp, what wot RPM should i be looking for with a light load for max performance?

Engine is a 1993 mercruiser 502 magnum carb. Outdrive is bravo 1, im not sure of the gear ratio. Hull is 23' deep vee 3750lbs. What is the max WOT rpm I should be looking for with a light load for best performance (top speed). On the engine is says 44-4800, but i was reading other people reving to 5k+.

Ayuh,...... That IS the Answer......

The Other People are either are either Under-Propped,...
Or,...
They're running Hot-Rodded motors,+ are Under-propped.....
