hi all....what a great website...
ive just bought a boat with a 90hp force motor on it...the guy i bought it from gave me a quick rundown how to start etc....but have found out that what he said was the choke isnt the choke...i have figures out that the choke works on a solonoid which works great...the question i have is ..what is the thing that he called the choke..
it is a small dial to the left of the key on the remotes which turns around ...can anyone help...
thanks fxstd

Re: 90 hp force motor

The small dial next to the ignition key is a throttle cable tensioner, at least it is on my 1990 FORCE 90. The choke is engaged by pressing the ignition key.
