Question Water pump for 7.5 hp mercury motor
The water pump on my 7.5 hp mercury motor pumps air but will not pick up water. I have cleaned it out to insure it is not clogged. What do I do next, short of taking it apart?

your not running it on ears are you, check and make sure it doesnt have a pickup under the cavitation plate.

IT does have pick up under cav plate
