97 Sunbird Neptune w/90hp johnson

Looking for a way to remove the oil reservior because it does not work properly. We currently mix all gas/oil at 50:1 manually. Also looking for a good place to install water/fuel separator. Any suggestions?

did you unplug the wiring harness on the oil tank, and the harness on the vro pump. cut the oil hose close to the motor, block with a bolt or plug, and hose clamp. take the oil tank out. i like my separator in the splash well if there is room. that way when changing filter, no gas gets sloshed in the boat.

Thanks for the help. I will give it a go and the splash well has room for the separator.
