All, I need a cheap slalom ski that has a better displacement then the 68" beginner O'Brien I have now. Any recommendations?

I'm in the same spot as you. I'm keeping my eye on ebay & craigslist.....Nothing yet. I figure at least a 70 or 72. Don't really want to pay the full price at Overtons or Bart's:) Good Luck

I am either looking for longer or wider or a little of both. I am sure if I was 30# lighter and 15 years younger, I'd be okay with what I have. :D

What are the problems that you are having with the smaller ski? The bigger skis will make it easier to get up on them, but they will be harder to control.

thanks guys... I picked up a set at Acadamey. Yes, it is harder to move around compared to the older days when I was younger and lighter, but I get up much easier. I wasn't looking for anything comp, just something to try and relive my teenage years. :D Boy do I hurt worse than I ever remember.
