A buddy of my having problem with is yamaha. It would work fine for awhile then all the suddenly it would lose hp and the engine start to shake.At a low RPm it would be fine . Then you you give it gas , the engine would start to shake. Not sure of the problem. If any body have any info on this issue please share or know what the issue be a great help . Thanks everyone for reading my post.

you can easily find out if it is a motor problem or an issue with the boat fuel supply - use a portable fuel tank to isolate the boat from the motor - also inspect the fuel quality/cleanliness :cool:

Thanks zzzzz we already try useing a portable fuel tank and it didn't help. Motor will run for awhile then begin to shake. Do you think it has do with the fuel system or carberator?

Yamaha electronics are pretty bulletproof...yeah,I'd bet on a fuel related issue:cool:....if you're anywhere near Port Charlotte-bring the carb in and we'll throw it in the ultrasound tank!
