Blowing fuses

We just installed dual batteries in our boat and we blow fuses every time we hit a swich. Any suggestions on where to start?

How did you hook up the batteries?

If that's all you changed I'd say there is a good chance it's got to do with it.

We wired them in a series circut so the voltage is the same. did this help?

If you wired them in series you are now putting out 24V. Everything in your boat runs on 12V unless you have a 24V trolling motor. If not they should be in parallel. Pos-pos and neg-neg.

Yeah that was helpful to rule things out.

Is it all the switches, just one or a couple and which ones?
