 Help.... I am having a fuel problem, I start the motor just fine, it runs for a few minute and then stalls. I prime the ball up hard and it runs for a few minutes and stalls again then the prime ball is soft. I read that it may be a fuel pump, I have the VRO, but it's been disabled and I now mix the oil with the fuel. This all started after I was at cruising speed about 28-30 mph and the motor spit out oil at the water return and started smoking white smoke. I turned off the motor and let it sit and it smoke a bit, but ran normal. I had to continue to prime the ball to keep it running. I now have it in my driveway and notice oil dripping off skage on the lower unit. Did I blow somthing???

Was it hot when it quit? Sounds like you cooked it good.

yes, I was running at about 20-25 mph covering about 5 miles of water when it occured. I don't think it's shot, it still runs fine and sounds the same. Just have some fuel/oil leaking and no fuel pumping into the moter, unless I used the ball to prime it.
