My Furuno owners amnual(old FCV 522) shows a thick ground cable going from the back case of the unit to the ships ground. My boat is fiberglass. Is the ships ground the negative on the battery? Can the cable just be routed to the negative of the power supply? Thanks in advance for your replies.
