Just bought an 86 stingray with a 140 mercruiser inboard (0A685269) but the serial number on the drive has faded off.

How can I identify it so I can get a new impeller for it?

Thanks in advance

Just tell then you need an impeller for an alpha unit. These impellers are all the same. They didn't change for a lot of years.Jerry

Ayuh,..... 1986 would be the Alpha 1........

All of the Pre-Alphas use the Same Impeller....

The Gen.IIs are a different 1,+ they came out in 91 I believe......

I planned to order it from IBOATS and I don't see ALPHA1 or ALPHA 2 all I see is part numbers.

You can use an implellar for an Alpha one Gen I or MR and R stern drives.

Those impellars are all the same. The Gen II uses a biger more aggressive looking implellar.
