Hi there, jsut joined up and notsure if anyone can help me out. here is the deal i have a 1978 Springbok 15 ft closed bow aluminum hull and i was thinking about taking the front off and making a casting platform. when cutting out the front bow i was thinking of leaving a foot and half or so of the original bow to keep the shape and structure. Under neath the Casting platform i was also thinking of reinforcing the front of the bow as well. Also when cutting out the front bow i would leave it about 4" of the Fiberglass, like the rest of the boat in the open area and i could secure that to the casting platforn form. NOt sure if any of this makes sense but i will take any offers on how to proceed. thanks have a great day
