Will this Carb work?

I have a 4.3 LXGEN V6 with a mercarb 2BBL carburetor(part#3310-807764). I'm having a hard time finding the same remanufactured mercarb. But instead found another mercarb 2BBL(part#3310-807312A1) thats made for a 5.7 V8 and it looks very similiar. But I don't know if it will work. Any suggestions? or anyone know of a place that carries this carburetor? Thanks.

There are differences between the 2brl 305 and 350 versions. Needles, jets, springs, and even throat size may be different. Get the right one for you 4.3 or convert to a 4brl. :)

Ayuh,....

I thought the 4.3LX was a 4bbl carbed motor,......

Mine is.....

hmm.. mines is actually a 2bbl. Dont know if it was replaced before or not, but it seems like an old carb thats hard to find now. So I'm looking for one that will fit without too much trouble.
