YEAR ANYONE??? MERC 115 O/B 1980'ish???

1st timer-please be kind. Anyone know the year of my Mercury O/B 115 HP (1150) ser# 6201782. Its on a sweet blue metal flake 1981 Glastron but told motor might be 1983 or 4.Any and all help is appreciated.Regards to all Mercaholics~!

You may look up the year at the Maxrules.com web site. They have a Merc Model year guide

It is a 1982. 1982 models were serial # from 6006834 to 6262960.
