I am attempting to replace an apparently worn out ignition switch (motor will not shut off when key turned to off position) and I cannot remember how to separate the control box. It is a standard side mount box with fast idle, F/R and tach connections. I have removed the three screws connecting the two halves but there appears to be something else holding it together. Is it just the twenty years of being stuck together or am I missing a step? Thanks

My recollection is there's a allen head screw in the center of the control handle which must come out also. Having a shop manual (OEM) or a parts list would be very helpful.
