bought this motor in march and had a new water pump installed . Ran it seveal times 50 miles or so with no problems. This weekend after stop and go fishing the motor slowed down from 3500rpm to alarm mode after a mile. I checked for debris but did'nt see any. After motoring to dock the temp lite came on and the egine felt hot.The next day I ran it 10 miles with no problems idled to dock and put it on the trailer no lite, [do not have warning horn ] then felt it and it was cool , then had to move up on the trailer a couple of inches ,gave it some gas , ready to shut off and the temp lite came on and it felt hot. Took it to a hose and ran it and pulled the water hoses off one at a time ,port was fine pumping water , starbord was dry. pulled the tstat out and it started running water , put the hose on and ran it but it stayed hot. the port side stayed cool. plugs looked fine on both sides. Any idea's ?
