We are mounting a new console mounted throttle control on our pontoon boat. It is going on a 1995 60hp Mercury Bigfoot motor. The wires were cut off short on the old wiring harness. Do I have to have new harness or can the wires be spliced to meet the old wires. All of the cables are still good and seem to work fine. Any suggestions on what brand of console mounted control I should buy?
