I have a 1972 two hp johnson sea horse one cylinder that was stored for about 25 years before I inherited it. I serviced it and it ran superb for 3 years. Unfortunately, the fuel tank rusted and the engine would not start. I have cleaned the carborator and gotten a fuel filter but I still need a new or used tank. It is a gravity fed unit that is a part of motor. I have tried several companies that say they sell old motor parts and ebay to no avail. Does anyone know where I can get one?

Thank you for your time.

Howdy Supercoolbabe,
That's neat that you inherited it and fixed it up and used it! Sounds like the right person received it. I would try laingsoutboards.com, tcoutboards.com (twin city outboards), and if that fell through, try placing a free ad on aomci.com--you'll probably be pleasantly suprised.
That's all I can think of.
Good luck--I hope you get it back in good shape,
JBJ
