Fuse ?

Let's say I have a vhf radio with an inline fuse, but I am going to wire it to my fuse panel. If the inline fuse is 2 amps, do I put a 2 amp in the fuse panel also?

It really doesn't matter as long as its not smaller than 2 amp and you leave the in-line fuse attached.

I was going to say, it really doesn't matter as long as it's not *bigger* than 2 amps. And then you don't need the inline fuse.

Yep, you can do that too. Install a 2 amp fuse in the holder and get rid of the inline. One less thing to corrode.
