adding a tower to my 2007 glastron mx175 boat

hey i have a 2007 glastron mx175 boat and at the dealer were i bought it they told me the hull wasnt strong enough to install a wake board tower on this model of boat.is there any one out there that has.if so can you reply on here.

A tower is offered on the GT185 according to my brochure. It's my understanding they are the same hull. Maybe it needs to be installed during hull assembly; I don't know.

probably has to do with backing in mounting stops.

if its a glass boat......ANYTHING CAN BE DONE ! :D

however, most likely, it will void your hull warranty....if you still want to do it :D.....check into the resto section......heh heh heh we'll walk you thru it.....

by the way.....would you also like the boat with a little more beam and freeboard

Did you add the tower ? I have a mx175 and would like to add a tower to it. If you did, how do you install the tower backing plates with the boats interior wall being solid ?
