Default Mercury 1350 1971 Fuel Delivery Questions

Hello all.....

I will post more details soon. Here is the issue: I have a parts list that (see the sheet attached) states model number 1350E-SS serial number 2839369 and up. I am assuming that I am model 1350 serial number 3116298. I am also assuming that this is a close match for my model number (I have never seen a 1350E-SS engine). Any input here?

The books (as stated above) shows this to be the correct hose config.....

Here is what I have traced.....

The main difference in the two drawings is that
Immediate questions and concerns:

1) There is a "1" and a "2" stamped on both the power head and on each fuel pump. Do these need to match in position? I am thinking that it dosent matter because they are the same part number.

It would be a great help if it were sized properly but the hose routing in the parts book and in the diagram you have drawn are exactly the same except for where a couple of lines are attached and the attachment don't matter as long as the in lines are in and the out lines are in the out ports they are clearly marked with a marked with arrows.

Thanks Laddies....

What about the line between the two fuel pumps......does it go out of the upper and into the lower or vice versa....or does that matter....
