I decided to rebuild the original carb off of my 97 3.0LX. I had been running an ebay carb and it finally gave up. The carb kit I got from Sierra (and the one I got from the local parts store) as well as my SELOC manual show that the carb should have a seperate throttle body underneath the body of the carb. I guess you could call it a 3 piece set up-Carb top, body, and throttle body.
The carb that I thought was the original carb from my boat does not have the seperate throttle body.
The rebuild went ok and I will fire it up tomorrow but Is this the original carb for my boat? IT is part number 807504 MFG 6y01.
