Need help with a Johnson 48 SPL

Trying to determine the year of a Johnson 48 SPL and possibly locate a manual for it. The model # is J48ESLE5A and the serial # is G 02524267. Any help with this is appreciated.

I think you mean J48ESLESA

J= Johnson

48= Horsepower

ES= Electric Start

L= 20" Transom

E=9
S=0

A= Model Run #

So you have a 1990 48HP Johnson Electric start for a 20" Transom. Run it on 50:1 mix of TCW-3 (2 Stroke) Oil. Use Champion spark plugs QL78YC gapped at .030"
