Control Cable Lengths?

I have a 1986 Bayliner 19' with a 125hp Force that needs a new shift control cable. Does anyone know what length I should order? I think it is a 13' cable but I don't want to order the wrong one and then have to return it. Any help would be appreciated.

The lenght should be printed or engraved on the cable. If it's red it might be in inches. Black it might be in feet. If you take it out and can't see the marks. Just measure the red or black part.If it measures say 15 and 1/2 ft go up to the next foot.Jerry
