We stored this motor over the winter and never ran it out of gas now when we try to start it no fuel as long as we spray fuel mix in the carb it starts and runs till the fuel is gone is there any way to flush the thing without taking it off I think the float is stuck or gummed up it looks like pulling the carb is a job any help on this one will be greatly appreciated.

did you pump the primer bulb until it was firm then you have a gummed up carb get a service manual and a carb overhaul kit don't mess with the carb until you have the manual

That is what a post with zero capitalization and punctuation looks like, easy.

Please make your post readable. It only takes a few seconds to do it right or to edit it.

Oh, and welcome to iboats. :)

Yes the bulb was hard, and we have fuel to the carb, you told me what I feared.
I will get a manual and take the carb off.
Many thanks, Easy.

Re: 1995 20 hp Mariner

I have purchased a carb kit and a Manual for this 20 h.p. Mariner and installed the kit. Now the Motor starts and runs great but acts as if it runs out of fuel.
If I pump the ball up again it will start and run again approximately 60 seconds then quits, could I have done something wrong? or could I now have a problem with the bulb?
At least it will start now getting closer.
Thanks for any help you can give,
Easy.:)
