I have a new to me 1990 Evenrude 120 V4. (It is on a 1991 Hydrasport 1750)
The boat had not been used in nearly 2 years. The last person that used it ran it out of gas. The tank had a very faint smell of old gas. I removed the carb covers and sprayed the carbs with carb cleaner, replaced the spark plugs, put in a couple of gallons of fresh gas checked the inline fuel filter. Pumped the bulb on the fuel line until it was hard. It cranks, starts and runs for about 12-15 seconds and cuts off. I did notice that the bulb on the fuel line was soft after running could there be a fuel cut off elsewhere?
