1991 Chaparral 2000 SL, Yamaha 5.0 Liter V8
I have a cracked lower stern drive housing. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement? Seems to be a hard part to find being made by Yamaha.
Can you get it welded or is it really that badly busted?
The cases are aluminum arent they? And like a ripped off skeg they can fix as good as new. May have to pull the guts out of the case to do the job from both sides.
It must be relally busted if you cant get it welded though Im thinking.
