I just got this boat as a gift, and ive been trying to get it running. I hook up the power source to the starter solenoid. When I turn the key the starter spins but doesn't pop up to engage the flywheel. So i tried to hook it up directly to the battery, same result. Then I tried to lube the shaft and lift it up manually. I cant seem to lift it up. I dont know if the starter is bad, or is the solenoid ? Im not sure what is wrong?
