Had a clicking sound in the starter relay put a new relay in still clicking any idea's thanks

lots of idea, first is to either repost in the yamaha section or have a moderator move this one, second is post the full model number as yamaha made a 2 stroke model for the US mrket since about 1984.
lastly do you own a multimeter? if not radioshack sells a digitl model for about 10 dollars and they sell premade test leads with alligator clips.
testing is a lot cheper than a relay from yamaha

Thanks guy's checked the voltage and it looks like the starter motor thanks for your help and advise
