I?ve searched the forum and could not locate the specific info in other threads so I figure I would ask. What is the best way to get the shift rod adjusted to the right height? My dad asked a guy that use to work on boats and he told him that I could screw the shift rod all the way down and then back it off 2 ? turns. In the threads that I read there is a measurement from the base of the lower unit to the center of the **** rod hole. Is there a proper measurement or number of turns that you guys could recommend? Thanks in advance for your help.
