I just picked up a used, but in great condition 750 12/24. So, any idea what year this is? Also the hookup is different then what my other motor is, so, the reciever the seller gave me has four holes, the motor plug has three prongs. The receiver has numbers 1 to 4 on the backside. Which hookups on the back of this receiver do I use for the plug, negative goes where, positive goes where, and how do I hook the batterys together to bring the proper three wires forward. Any help is appreciated and helpful. Thanks very much in advance.

welcome to iboats.

excuse the crudeness of this drawing, see if it helps.

you should put 40amp circuit breakers on both the positive leads. Manual reset is preferred, so it won't start spinning on you while you're clearing hydrilla off the prop. I use auto-reset cause I like to live dangerously ;)

here's your schematic

Before you connect anything to the receptacle, check the plug on the troller motor cable. You want to make sure the red wire from the batteries is connected to the terminal on the receptacle that matches the red wire on the troller plug. Same for the orange and black.
