cant find the uscg capacity plate , ??

My new acquisition doesn't have the required plate near the helm listing the statistical requirements for weight, crew or engine size. Is this required, I do not find any hints that it was ever there, it is a 85 22 ft cruiser, it has a old coast guard inspection decal. is this a requirement, and if so how to fulfil this.

found the answer on the NJ state police web site, pa state police also, neither state require a capacity label on a boat over 20 ft, so my 20.5 is in the clear

My Mckee Craft is so old, the plate is unreadable...along with the stickers on 3 out 4 of my trailers.
